對於有幻聽經驗的個案而言，除了生活上的困擾，其所造成的影響還包括遭受辱罵、從事不利於己的事，甚至傷害自己或他人，因此幻聽的評估與處理相當的重要。幻聽評估的項目包括聲音的內容、頻率、來源，以及其對個案的影響等；處理方式則包括運用治療性的溝通技巧，給予同理的支持，以誠懇的態度協助個案渡過幻聽困擾，藉由團體分享與行為控制的運用，例如自我監控、大聲閱讀、與人談天、以耳機聽音樂等方法，幫助個案找出合適且
